TAKING CARE OF KOI MEDICAL CLOTHING: 10 TIPS

KOI tops and trousers are made of high quality and durable polyester materials. Normally polyester does not shrink, however, it can deform and lose colour in case of improper care. If you wear, wash, dry and store your clothes correctly they will remain “new” for a long time. Below you can read some tips on how to take care of our clothes.

  1. Wear KOI clothing of your size only. Thanks to spandex material our clothes stretch well, but nevertheless, the seams are not designed for remaining stressed for a long time.
  2. KOI clothes should be washed at a temperature not higher than the one indicated on a label. This will allow you to keep the colour and structure of the fabric longer.
  3. Turn your product inside out before washing. This will protect it from wear.
  4. Hand-wash your clothes. Machine wash is allowed, but only using delicate washing cycle.
  5. Do not wash KOI clothes together with cotton items in order to avoid appearance of extraneous fibres (peeling).
  6. When drying avoid excessive drying. Do not dry clothes on heaters or in direct sunlight.
  7. Polyester clothes produced by KOI normally do not wrinkle. If you still need to iron your item, do it gently through a damp cloth using "silk" mode, turning it inside out before ironing.
  8. Avoid keeping clothes wet for a long time. By doing this you will protect your items from deformation.
  9. Store your clothes properly. Store tops on appropriate hangers, fold trousers in half and hang on a crossbar.
  10. Use a special roller to clean clothes. The roller will remove small specks that have an abrasive effect on fabric.
